Our
STORY

Filho's Cucina is the culmination of 25 years of experience for chef owner Ozzie Filho. Born in Brazil, Ozzie has been in the industry since the tender age of thirteen, working in his father's kitchens in many restaurant/pizzeria concepts in the Andover- Lawrence area. Utilizing his Brazilian-Italian heritage, Osvaldo worked his magic in some of the areas finest eating establishments.

At the age of 21, Ozzie became a self taught executive chef and was recognized as one of the most talented chefs in New England. He worked as executive chef at one of the best Italian restaurants North of Boston from 1982 to 1989 and has been recognized and praised for his creativity and knowledge of Italian cooking.

He has also masterminded a wonderful upscale pizzeria/pastaria concept where he worked for eight years. With this experience Filho's Cucina was conceived, and the rest is history.

Now an established Groton institution, at Filho's you will find reasonably priced traditional Italian fare of the highest quality in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Our entire menu is available for both counter service and takeout, and we boast an extensive catering menu to fit any occasion.

BYOB

Filho's has a BYOB permit and encourages pairing our dishes with your favorite libations. Forgot drinks at home? Not a problem! Our restaurant is attached to the Groton Market, which boasts the best selection and variety of wines, beers, and liquor in the area.
